A screenplay written by Steven Grant and Choice Skinner, "Big & Beautiful" stars Alysia Joy Powell, who played opposite of Jonah HIll in "The Sitter." This romantic and uplifting comedy is about a plus size woman named Jamela Jenkins (Powell), who has recently been cheated on by her fiance, decides by help with her best friend, Tammi, to attend a weight loss and self improvement resort on an island to recover from her broken heart, but instead of relaxation, she is confronted with crazy people and an admirer that test her faith in making the right decision.

Additional cast includes Michael Corey Davis (For Colored Girls), Farley Jackson (Wingman Inc.), Daffany McGarry Clark (The Fosters), Felicia Tamika Sheppard and LuLu Valencia.
